Here we answer some frequently asked questions:
Who will deal with my claim?
Our solicitors have a wealth of knowledge in dealing with a range of personal injury claims, including catastrophic injuries and complex brain injuries. You can be sure that we will deal with your claim in the most professional way, always striving to get the best possible outcome for our clients both through compensation and rehabilitation. Our no win no fee promise
As part of our no win no fee promise, we guarantee that if we are not successful in settling your claim, you won’t have to pay anything at all.
How long will it take?
Generally speaking, claims need to be issued within three years of the date of the accident. However, the three-year period runs from the date of knowledge i.e. the date which you became aware of the accident. In cases where the claimant is a child, claims need to be issued before their 21st birthday.
The time it takes to settle a claim depends on the complexity of the case and the severity of the injuries sustained, and can range from months to years. In cases where claims are likely to take years to settle and liability has been admitted, we will endeavour to secure interim payments for our clients which can be put towards general living costs and the cost of rehabilitation.
Can I transfer my claim to you?
If you’re unsatisfied with the service or quality of your current solicitors, you can arrange to transfer your claim to us free of charge. Provided we are satisfied that your claim has reasonable prospects of success, we can then begin acting as your new solicitors.
